Well it started out as going there for an oil change. But on the way there I got a flat tire. I called Scott and he sent out a tow. The my vehicle back to the shop and they changed my oil and replaced my tire. I was also leaving on a trip a the following week so they checked over my car for me. I highly recommend them.
Mike at Heartland tire in Brooklyn Park came through again. I’ve been going there for 20+ years bought several sets of tires and every time I have an emergency Mike has been willing to take care of me. Regardless of how busy he has he’s been excellent, and his customer service, and his shop personnel has been above par. I can’t recommend them enough.
Dave and Matt saved me $3,200.00. I have a 2005 Mercury Sable Wagon with only 50,000 miles on it. The auto shop that did my oil change told me I had an engine oil leak by the timing cover. The work that needed to be done to correct this problem would take 2 days and the cost would be $3,200.00. For a second opinion, I called Heartland Tire in Spring Lake Park and talked to Dave. He explained to me that it is very common for older cars to leak some oil. The next week, I brought my car in and Matt helped me decide what the next step should be. We decided to do an engine degreaser. Fluorescent dye was installed to show if there was a leak. After I drove my car 230 miles, I returned to Heartland Tire. I am very happy to report the engine area was dry, no leaks. My only cost was a small amount for the engine degreaser, not $3,200.00. I highly recommend Heartland Tire Spring Lake Park because they are fair and you can trust them.
Grateful for Ed's help to get my transmission repaired! He was able to find a cost effective solution and worked diligently with my warranty provider to make sure the repairs were covered. The store's loaner worked great while we waited for the part to come in and the repair to be completed. Many thanks to Ed & team!
